Healing through Pain Alchemy: A Journey of Resilience

I’m Angela — writer, witch, mother, and survivor. I live with dynamic disabilities, chronic pain, and a whole lot of soul. For over two decades, I’ve been navigating life with conditions like fibromyalgia, endometriosis, adenomyosis, surgical menopause, PMDD, and C-PTSD.
I’ve lived through medical gaslighting, homelessness, grief, and the long road of self-advocacy — but I didn’t give up. I studied, researched, and learned how to turn my pain into purpose.
This space was born from that journey — from the chaos and the calm, the soft and the sharp. I call it Pain Alchemy: transforming what hurts into something that heals.

I’ve moved countries seven times, started over more times than I can count, and raised my child through it all. I believe in slow living, dark humour, gentle rebellion, and finding magic in the mundane.
Here, I write for the late-diagnosed, the misunderstood, the sensory seekers, and the ones who were told they were “too much” or “too sensitive.” You are my people.
🪄 My Beliefs
- Pain is real, but so is power.
- Softness is strength — and rest is rebellion.
- Comfort is not a luxury — it’s a right.
- Neurodivergent minds are wired for wonder.
- There’s no timeline for healing — only rhythm.
- Magic lives in the ordinary: a blanket, a playlist, a moment of peace.
I believe in night-time reflections, crows, black clothing, moon rituals, tattoos, and making life feel beautiful again — even in the middle of the mess.
